QUALIFICATIONS: This position requires knowledge of methods, processes and materials used in stencil, ditto, and basic machine duplication; the operation and care of ditto, Xerox and other basic duplicating machines.Knowledge of basic record keeping/inventory methods and techniques; as well as basic store/concessions operations; skill to understand and carry out directions in an independent manner; ability to quickly learn to effectively operate and maintain cash register and designated food service machine/equipment; ability to train supervise student workers; and knowledge to perform basic mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
Must possess the skill to operate duplicating machines efficiently and economically; establish and maintain a daily work schedule; prepare and maintain simple records and production reports; communicate effectively both orally and in written form; understand and carry out oral and written instructions; establish and maintain effective work relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties; type at a rate sufficient to perform the required duties; perform other related duties as required.Must possess the skill to establish and maintain a variety of records and logs; maintain an appropriate inventory of stock on hand, communicate effectively orally and in writing; effectively organize and prioritize workload for self and others; ability to meet physical requirements necessary to safely and effectively perform assigned duties; establish and maintain effective relationships with those contacted in the performance of required duties.
One year of general clerical experience, including the operation of general duplicating machines. Ability to read, write, and do math calculations at a level necessary to perform the duties of the position.Preferably including experience in retail sales, or any combination of training and/or experience that could likely provide the desired knowledge and skill
Upon placement in the position, the employee will obtain, if not already in possession of, a Food Safety Certificate.
A PRE-EMPLOYMENT MEDICAL ASSESSMENT AND CRIMINAL HISTORY CHECK WILL BE REQUIRED OF THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
DUTIES OF POSITION: To operate duplicating machines such as Xerox, ditto, and other copy machines for the purpose of reproducing a variety of printed materials. Employees in this classification receive direct supervision from a school/District office site administrator or his/her designate within a well defined framework of policies and procedures. Employees in this class are responsible for the accurate and timely completion of duplicating projects and for the safe and proper operation of the duplicating machines.Operate an on-campus student store and maintain an adequate stock and inventory. Employees in this class direct and supervise student assistants. This job class performs a variety of routine but responsible tasks in the effective implementation of store/concession operations and requires communication and organizational skills as well as knowledge of specialized procedures and methods utilized in the stocking/retailing activities.
STARTING SALARY: $3,190.03 (monthly)
NUMBER OF MONTHS: 10 (to begin as soon as possible)
NUMBER OF HOURS: 8 (daily working hours 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
