As a Maintenance Engineering Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our property stays in top condition. From fixing plumbing and electrical issues to supporting improvement projects, your work helps deliver exceptional experiences for every guest.
What You’ll Do

  • Assist in maintaining a safe environment for hotel employees and guests by responding promptly to all maintenance requests

  • Troubleshoot and repair general maintenance issues, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks

  • Perform preventive maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems (e.g., checking outlets, pipe systems, fixtures)

  • Inspect and make minor repairs to HVAC systems, toilets, sinks, pipelines, and other fixtures

  • Check electrical systems such as refrigeration controls, televisions, and lighting, performing minor repairs as needed

  • Repair and maintain furniture and structures (e.g., cabinets, tables, chairs, doors, windows, counters)

  • Complete painting projects, wallpaper repair/hanging, and finishing work on furniture and structures

  • Collaborate on renovation and improvement projects to keep the property in excellent condition

  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards

This position is within a hotel and requires the availability to work weekends, holidays, and other high volume days. 
 

  • 1-3 years of experience as a maintenance engineer or repairman in a high-volume hotel or resort.
  • Degree, certification, or training in engineering is a plus.
  • Ability to use general repair tools, read basic drawings and specifications and make rough estimates of required material.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, stand and walk frequently.
  • Developed English skills both written and orally.
