JOB LOCATION

Duke Cardiology of Raleigh - 3320 Wake Forest Rd

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking aProvider Support Assistant to provide administrative support to the clinics HCA. Apply knowledge and skills to resolve moderately complex administrative problems independently and with others. Assist with diverse operating procedures and programs.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain providers and staff schedule. Template requests for new providers.
  • Handle meeting schedules for clinic and providers.
  • Monthly reporting.
  • Maintain reports, logs, etc as required by DHIP and Joint Commission.
  • Monitor to ensure timely provider sign off of patient procedures and reports.
  • Monthly billing for EP and off-site nuclear providers.
  • Maintain employee files to ensure education and requirements are current.
  • Order clinic office and medical supplies and reconcile invoices.
  • Enter and follow up on work orders and Help Desk tickets for provider & clinic issues.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to work described herein needed by the clinics HCA.

JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.

  • One-year experience of clerical or general office support required. Two years of administrative and/or medical staff support experience preferred.
  • EPIC scheduling and reporting experience.

  • Ordering supplies and reconciling Purchase Orders experience.

  • Organizational skills, time management, ability to work independently and handle confidential information.

JOB HOURS

The schedule for this position is day shifts, Monday-Friday, with no weekends or holidays.
