Job description

Join Duke Neurology

The Department of Neurology at Duke is seeking an additional Neurohospitalist for its expanding Hospital Neurology Division.  Both graduating residents and fellows, as well as experienced Neurohospitalists, are welcome to apply. Hired physician will do the majority of their clinical work at Duke Raleigh Hospital located in highly desired Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina.

  • 100% clinical responsibilities
  • Ability to do some clinical work at Duke University Hospital, in addition to majority time worked at Duke Raleigh Hospital 18 service weeks/year
  • Ability to pursue other subspecialty interests such as Telestroke and/or clinic

The ideal candidate will enjoy a fast-paced environment and excel in critical thinking, quality improvement and communication. Ability to collaborate effectively with other subspecialists and APPs and trainees is a must. You’ll find ample satisfaction and meaning to your work in this faculty role at Duke, while enjoying sufficient opportunity to expand your scope of practice as much as desired!
