Job Duties

  • Work collaboratively with the Dual Enrollment Coordinator in all aspects of the LSUA Dual Enrollment Program
  • Collect Dual Enrollment paperwork from high school personnel
  • Process applications for Prep students
  • Verify students qualify for the Dual Enrollment program based on admission criteria
  • Process registrations and course changes for Prep students
  • Advise parents and students regarding admissions and registration for dual enrollment courses
  • Provide information to high school personnel concerning upcoming dates, deadlines, and support services available for students
  • Recruit additional schools to participate in the Dual Enrollment Program at LSUA
  • Represent LSUA at Dual Enrollment informational meetings
  • Ensuring that required paperwork for Dual Enrollment students is scanned into Docubase
  • Recruit Dual Enrollment participants for continuing studies at LSUA after high school graduation
  • Serve as a contact for all Dual Enrollment inquiries including, but not limited to registration and admissions
  • Assist with orientation for all dual enrollment students and parents
  • Work with academic departments to conduct degree audits for students pursuing an associate's degree
  • Follow all LA Board of Regents' policies and procedures for Dual Enrollment programming

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field
  • Valid Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Ability to multitask in a high paced environment
  • Must be able to work outside of normal business hours
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
