Job description

Responsible for sales management, customer service, and day-to-day operations of facility(s). Maintains full knowledge of bank's sales, service and operations. Acts as teller, customer service representative, as needed, and supervises operations and sales while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees. Provides guidance and coaching to employees while conforming to established guidelines including regulatory compliance, policies and procedures. Responsible for outside business development calling efforts to identify needs and opportunities for consumer and business products and services. Is expected to participate in local community organizations. Oversees general operations of branch. Staffs, coaches, counsels, and develops employees. Has daily contact with direct report employees and employees in other departments. Two-way communication between all departments is essential in ensuring an efficient and productive work place. Has a great deal of customer contact. Daily activities are affected by amount of customer traffic in facility, customer and employee demands, and meetings and classes. Involved in selection and training of employees. Develops, coaches and handles personnel issues and situations. Must act as a teller and customer service representative as needed, along with supervise operations and sales all while providing Legendary Service to customers and employees. Sales management and training for cross selling bank products are important parts of everyone's duties. Responsible for referrals, follow up and assuring customers' needs are met. Has good understanding knowledge of installment lending in order to act as liaison between customers and loan officers. Takes an active role in sales process including being responsible for coaching and motivating employees. Responsible for outside business development calling efforts to identify needs and opportunities for consumer and business products and services. Is expected to participate in the local community organizations. Responsible for overseeing operations of facility. Opens and closes facility, buying and selling money, branch cash levels, performing teller cash box audits, monitoring and maintaining night depository agreements, monitoring security and compliance issues, completing multiple branch audits, and information security. Responsible for operations of branch including staffing, coaching, loss prevention, and development of knowledgeable well trained staff members. Must have a good understanding of security and fraud protections, operations, and products and services provided by bank and actively call on both customers and prospects in facility's market area. Responsible for culture, utilizing and ensuring sales models are followed by staff, monitors performance, and ensures facility is meeting bank's overall strategic plan. Promotes team atmosphere providing Legendary Service to both customers and coworkers while ensuring branch operations in accordance with branch control manual standards. Responsible for compliance with all banking regulations which are applicable to job, including Bank Secrecy Act and information security initiatives. The environment is fast paced, where interruptions occur often. It is important to dress and act in a professional manner. Understands role in case of robbery and knows proper post-robbery procedures. Accountable for other tasks as directed by supervisor. Supervises Tellers, Financial Associates and Assistant Branch Manager, with 5-10 direct and indirect reports depending upon location.
Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and training with at least 4 years of banking experience and 1 years of management experience. Previous sales management experience required. Must have good working knowledge of retail, lending, and compliance. Advanced knowledge of teller and new account functions, bank regulations, bank policies and procedures and bank products and services. Strong attention to detail with ability to work in fast paced environment with accuracy. Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong customer relations skills. Must work with employees and customers in a cooperative, positive, professional manner. Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information and work quickly and accurately to analyze information and make decisions. Ability to proactively assume additional responsibilities/duties/projects. Successful completion of in-house training programs.
Ability to drive a vehicle. Must maintain a current, valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record for bank insurance purposes.
Dual Manager Position for Huntsville and Moberly North - Must be willing to travel between Huntsville and Moberly daily
