Position Description  

The Department of Technology Management and Budget, (DTMB) the Center for Shared Solutions, (CSS) is looking to contract a single Project Manager. This person will serve as a Project Manager, providing project management and business analysis services for Mobile projects. This Project Manager will work with both State of Michigan and Contractual Resources in on-going development of the MiPage downloadable application, as well as overseeing the redesign of existing web applications into Responsive Design. 

Some day and overnight travel will be required on an as needed basis. This person will serve as a Project Manager, providing project management and business analysis services for two key initiatives, MiPage and Mobile Transformation. Primarily this Project Manager will manage the on-going development of the MiPage downloadable application, working with both State of Michigan and Contractual Resources, and will oversee the redesign of existing Web Applications to Responsive Design. 

This project manager will manage the lifecycle of the project from beginning to end. These responsibilities include: a. Develop the management of scope, time, cost, communication, quality, and risk for each individual project. b. Provide guidance and support to DTMB/CSS and customers in their understanding of the project management best practices and discipline for the project. c. 

Communicate the agency vision and customer needs to the project team. d. Provide overall support to the project team members. This will include planning and coordinating State and contractual information technology (IT) staff to meet the customers' needs along with complying with DTMB development standards. Specialists. e. 

The work will include the design and implementation of project plans, technical documents, and oversight of schedules and review/approval of status reports, deliverables and invoices for each project worked on

Skills Required PM Skills both Waterfall & Agile

Experience Required 10 yrs PM experience     

Experience Preferred 10 yrs experience as certified PMP
