Feeser's provides an expansive offering of dry, refrigerated, and frozen products to a diverse customer base comprised of restaurants, healthcare facilities, educational facilities, and other institutions.

Inside Sales Representative I
SUMMARY: As an Inside Sales Representative I, you will play a crucial role in driving sales and revenue growth for Feeser's. This role is ideal for individuals with a dedicated interest in sales, excellent communication skills and a desire to build a career in the food service industry. You will be the direct support to designated members of the sales team and develop the skills to upsell products and generate sales. A strong ability to understand and execute contract terms will also be essential in this role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ability to communicate through various access channels, including telephone, voicemail, email, Microsoft Teams and online chat
• Direct support to DSR
• Establish a direct relationship with customers at the request of the DSR
• Proactively create communication schedule with DSR
• Communicate effectively and exercise sound judgement when interacting with customers
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to proactively solve issues for the customer
• Answer all incoming concerns and needs from all customers
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and delivery
• Process orders for customer pick-up
• Provide customers with invoice copies upon request
• Process credits requests
• Maintain a customer account call list
• Document all customer interactions in CRM system
• Monitor orders before the cut-off time for next day delivery
• Advanced food service product catalog knowledge to assist customers with product suggestions & alternatives
• Communicate problems with the proper internal departments
• Understand the 7 core KPIs for each assigned DSR and work collaboratively to ensure all KPIs are achieved
• Understand pricing strategy of DSR for all accounts
• Ability to upsell customers
• Responsible for vacation coverage of DSR's
• Base level understanding of accounts receivable
• Knowledge of contract accounts and ability to execute contract terms
• Proactively push at risk items
• Order entry
• Perform other duties as directed by your manager
SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to quickly find and resolve customer inquiries
• Dependable and punctual time management skills
• Strong writing and math skills with attention to detail
• Empathy and the ability to take initiative for the customer
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to creatively resolve complex and sensitive situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, subject to rapid change and uncertainty

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
• Associate's degree or equivalent preferred.
