Position Summary
As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) at Liberty Behavioral & Community Services, Inc., you will play a vital role in providing support and assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your work will empower participants to achieve greater independence and improve their quality of life. This position involves working directly with clients to implement care plans, facilitate community inclusion, and enhance daily living skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with their daily living activities, emphasizing independence and self-sufficiency.
  • Implement and monitor individualized support plans tailored to each participant's needs.
  • Provide emotional support and encouragement to clients to help them achieve their personal goals.
  • Engage clients in social, educational, and recreational activities to promote community participation.
  • Support clients in personal hygiene, dressing, meal preparation, and other daily tasks as needed.
  • Document client progress and communicate any significant changes to supervisory staff.

Qualifications
