Dry End Operator - Laminator

Position Title: 

Dry End Operator - Laminator

Pay Rate

$20.00/hour

Category/Shift

Hourly Full-Time Monday-Thursday, 5am-3pm

The Job You Will Perform: 

  • Check counts and bale unit accuracy
  • Check customer specifications and appearance of all loads
  • Produce accurate load tags
  • Monitor load tag process by verifying tags and placing tags in unit
  • Provide clear and concise communication
  • Assist stacker operator with quality checklist
  • Operate a clean and safe work environment
  • Proper maintenance reporting using work order procedure
  • Restack all loads that do not fall within warp standards
  • Must communicate quality of unit clearly and consistently to appropriate team members
  • Must provide timely and professional radio communications

The Skills You Will Bring: 

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must be able to proficiently use a calculator, do basic math and read a tape measure
  • Demonstrate ability to read a production schedule including special instructions
  • Demonstrate ability to manually restack units if necessary in a safely and timely manner
  • Use the load tag system as it is designed
  • Understand causes of nonconformance such as warp, de-lamination, bad scores and verification of all specifications and special instructions
