Dry Cleaning Technician

Department: Laundry & Valet Services
Reports To: Dry Cleaning Supervisor / Laundry Manager

Position Summary

The Dry Cleaning Technician is responsible for the professional cleaning, spotting, pressing, finishing, and quality inspection of guest garments, employee uniforms, and specialty textiles. This role supports the resort's luxury service standards by ensuring all items are processed with exceptional care, quality, and attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Inspect garments for stains, damage, and special care requirements.

  • Perform spotting, stain removal, dry cleaning, and laundering procedures.

  • Operate dry-cleaning, pressing, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.

  • Press and finish garments to luxury hospitality standards.

  • Conduct quality inspections before packaging and delivery.

  • Process guest, VIP, and team member garments within established turnaround times.

  • Maintain accurate garment tracking and documentation.

  • Follow all safety, chemical handling, and operating procedures.

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and professional.

Qualifications
  • Previous dry-cleaning, laundry, or garment care experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of fabrics, stain removal techniques, and garment finishing.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, luxury hospitality environment.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
