Counter Staff

Reports To: Counter Manager & General Manager

Edit Holdings, LLC dba Tide Cleaners is seeking a Guest Service Representative to join our team!

We are seeking individuals that enjoy working with people and as a team to represent Tide Dry Cleaners in the ideal manner and provide an enjoyable customer experience for our customers.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide the best in-store customer experience to our dry cleaning, laundry pick up and drop off customers.
  • Manage any customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, build rapport with customers and identify their needs.
  • Be able to resolve/deescalate customer complaints/issues.
  • Perform all clothes check-in and check-out tasks.
  • Tag, spot check, organize garments according to any customer details request.
  • Inform customers about payment methods and verify their credit card data.
  • Perform basic math skills to calculate garment prices and operate cash transactions accurately.
  • Ensure the quality standards of Tide Dry Cleaners are met.
  • Train employees in all aspects of running a counter store.
  • Qualify to open and close the store and perform the daily goals.
  • Be able to function in a fast-paced environment with a high level of detail while standing for long periods of time.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the counter area to ensure a neat store appearance.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

  • Ability to recognize numbers and perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to self-start and maintain positive/energetic motivation.
  • Strong Leadership qualities.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Previous experience in hospitality/customer service roles is preferred.

Shift and Schedule

  • Store Hours of Operation: Mon-Fri 6:30am-7:00pm Saturday: 8:00am-5:00pm Sundays: Closed
  • Full-time (30-40 hours weekly) or PT (29 hours max weekly)
  • Overtime if necessary
