Work Location
On-site in Manassas, VA with regular day travel in the Mid-Atlantic area.
Reports to
Operations Manager
A successful Project Manager will...
  • Understand the scope and customer requirements for projects and develop plans to execute them to meet these requirements efficiently with an eye for cost and schedule constraints.
  • Engage and maintain contact with all internal and external parties involved in projects to ensure communication is clear and serving the needs of projects.
  • Regularly monitor the progress of projects to ensure that customer requirements are being met and that cost and schedule are in line with the project budget. Actively engage with all parties when requirements and budget are not being met to determine a fair resolution.
  • Clearly document all the above activities.
  • Create documented work plans for projects that communicate the plan clearly to company employees and meet customer requirements.

Skills needed to be successful are...
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in crane/rigging industry are preferred with experience in managing small to medium size projects
  • Highly detail-oriented
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
  • Able to understand the technical aspects of the company's work sufficiently perform their job
  • Physically able to travel to and inspect jobsites on their own
