Job description

Kitting Associate

The Kitting Associate will process and move inventory from production into a single package.

  • Operates a forklift to load, unload, transport and store parts.
  • Identifying multiple elements of the kit, following the assembly order on what inventory to pull to form the kit.
  • Packages products using specific shipping containers and protective padding.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Highest attention to detail.
  • Experience operating a forklift; ability to be certified in Forklift operation.
  • Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing and carrying.
  • High school diploma; bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background and drug screening.
  • Fosters good coworker citizenship and contributes to a positive work environment.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand throughout shift, less breaks and lunch.
  • Warehouse environment that can include exposure to loud noises, fumes/odors, extreme temperatures, dirt, and dust.
