Job description

As a Demand Planner, you are responsible for building accurate, insight-driven forecasts that support service, inventory, and financial goals. This role partners closely with marketing, sales, finance, supply planning, and operations to translate business activity and market signals into a reliable demand plan, while helping the organization respond quickly to changes in demand or supply.Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and finance to incorporate new products, promotions, pricing changes, and events into demand forecasts
• Lead the monthly consensus process to create forecasts that meet supply chain service and inventory goals, and inform monthly financial projections
• Analyze weekly and monthly forecast accuracy, identify trends, and recommend adjustments to optimize inventory and service levels
• Conduct brand and item mix analyses to provide insights for volume discussions
• Develop expertise in brand volume by tracking consumption and shipment trends, as well as category and industry dynamics
• Partner with supply planning to assess supply chain impacts of forecast changes and demand impacts of supply chain disruptions
• Maintain and update forecasting system (o9) to improve forecast accuracy and streamline processes.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, operations, or related field
• 1-3 years' experience in logistics, demand planning/forecasting, supply planning, or related areas, within CPG preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and working knowledge of MS Office applications
• Experience with forecasting or manufacturing systems preferred (o9 and/or SAP a plus; willingness to learn is welcome)
• Problem-solving mindset, with a passion for analyzing large data sets and translating insights into action
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environmen

New Hire Base Salary Range:
$77,800.00 - $97,300.00
Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.
The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
