The company is a global pioneer of AESA tactical radars for active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance. 

Job Summary

DRS RADA Technologies in Germantown, MD, is hiring a Master Scheduler.  This position is full time and on-site.

As a subsidiary of Leonardo DRS, DRS RADA Technologies delivers proprietary radar solutions and supports legacy avionics systems for defense customers around the world. The company is a recognized pioneer in AESA tactical radar technology, supporting missions such as active military protection, counter-drone operations, critical infrastructure security, and border surveillance.

The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and driving the integrated master schedule for the business with a strong emphasis on long-term material shortage visibility, backlog review, forecast development, and rough-cut capacity planning. This role works closely with Production Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Program teams to ensure the organization has an executable weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual master schedule aligned to customer demand, material availability, and operational capacity.

Job Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the master production schedule across weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual planning horizons.
  • Analyze backlog, forecast, and demand inputs to translate business requirements into an executable production and material plan.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated master schedule that reflects material availability, production readiness, labor constraints, and business priorities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Production Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Program Management, and Manufacturing to align priorities and drive execution.
  • Lead the review of long-term material shortages and partner with Procurement and Supply Chain to identify supply risks, long-lead constraints, and projected impacts to future production.
  • Prepare and maintain a rolling forecast and perform rough-cut capacity planning to ensure the master schedule is executable based on material position, production capability, and operational constraints.
  • Provide regular schedule status updates, monitor schedule adherence, and perform risk analysis to identify and mitigate shortages, schedule slips, priority conflicts, and capacity gaps.
  • Support scenario planning, recovery planning, and continuous improvement of planning discipline, data accuracy, reporting, and overall scheduling performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related discipline, with a minimum of 8 years of planning, scheduling, production control, or related experience in a manufacturing environment. Equivalent experience may be considered.

  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining master schedules tied to backlog, forecast, material availability, and production execution.

  • Successful track record working cross-functionally with Production Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Program teams.

  • Experience identifying and managing long-term material shortages and supply-driven schedule constraints
  • Experience in schedule analysis, backlog review, forecast development, and rough-cut capacity planning.

The salary range for this position is $101,098.00-$131,427.00. This range reflects the good faith estimate of pay the employer is willing to offer at the time of posting. Several factors can influence the pay scale, including but not limited to: Federal contract labor categories and contract wage rates, collective bargaining agreements, geographic location, business considerations, scope, and responsibilities of the position, local or other applicable market conditions, and internal equity. Other factors include the candidate's qualifications such as prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education/training, and certifications. In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for: annual performance-based bonuses, equity awards, and overtime pay (for non-exempt employees as applicable.
