Position Overview

Augment Professional Services (APS) is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with strong project management and Scrum Master capabilities to support digital transformation initiatives within disposal operations. This role contributes to the delivery of technology solutions that modernize landfill operations, environmental compliance, and digital workflows across a large-scale disposal network.

  • Lead requirements development, cross-functional coordination, and delivery execution for multiple digital applications, including environmental compliance systems, operational technology integrations, and workflow modernization initiatives.
  • Drive collaboration between business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technology partners to ensure alignment, clarity of requirements, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, use cases, process flows, and integration artifacts within complex system environments.
  • Serve in a project leadership capacity, supporting Agile delivery practices, sprint ceremonies, and disciplined execution across multiple workstreams.
  • Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks, dependencies, and integration challenges across internal teams and external partners.
  • Support business process transformation efforts by analyzing current workflows, identifying improvement opportunities, and enabling scalable digital solutions.
  • Engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including front-line operations and senior leadership, to drive alignment and informed decision-making.
  • Contribute to operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives through structured analysis and execution excellence.
  Required Technical Skills

· At least five years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise application development, cross-product integration, or complex user-centric digital programs is required.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

· Hands-on experience developing requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria, and test documentation.

· Prior project management or scrum master experience, including risk management, project planning, and cross-team coordination.

· Experience working closely with development and QA teams throughout the full software delivery lifecycle.

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline.


Preferred Experience / Qualifications

· Experience working across all phases of the project development lifecycle within large enterprise environments.

· Familiarity with engineering and operational technologies such as Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), ArcGIS (ESRI), drone data platforms, or SCADA systems.

· Strong analytical capabilities, including data interpretation and experience with SQL or Oracle.

· Demonstrated Agile delivery experience, including facilitation of sprint ceremonies and continuous improvement practices.

· Experience leading software development initiatives or serving in a project leadership capacity.

· Background in developing training materials or supporting organizational change management efforts.

· Exposure to UI/UX principles and software development practices that enhance collaboration with technical teams.

· Relevant professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, CSM, PSM, or PMP.
