Job Overview
Amhof Trucking is seeking a Dispatcher / Driver Manager. This role coordinates with drivers, customers, maintenance, and safety teams to ensure efficient over-the-road operations. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, general knowledge of D.O.T. regulations, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch, route, and plan drivers and equipment efficiently.
- Communications with drivers, dispatch, planning, safety, maintenance, and admin via phone and email.
- Providing excellent customer service to ensure all loads delivery safely and on time.
- Assisting drivers with any issues encountered.
- Help other driver managers.
- Monitoring driver compliance regulations and planning accordingly to meet schedules and deadlines and ensure safe, on-time deliveries.
Qualifications
- Experience: 1-3+ years of experience in dispatch, logistics, or fleet management (Preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in Logistics or Supply Chain is a plus.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience with McLeod TMS and Samsara is preferred.
- Knowledge: General understanding of the transportation industry, D.O.T. regulations, and over-the-road operations.
- Attributes: Strong multitasking abilities, detail-oriented, and excellent customer service skills.
Salary: $45,000+ per year, depending on experience.
