Job description

Savannah Distributing is seeking a dedicated and professional Driver Helper to join its team. The Driver Helper will accompany the Driver on deliveries and assist with various tasks, including loading and unloading of products, merchandising, and other responsibilities as needed. The Driver Helper will play a crucial role in representing our company and increasing customer satisfaction through positive interactions and professional conduct. Career growth opportunities including driver training. We get our driver helpers trained and DOT certified to advance their career opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supporting Drivers in delivering products to stores, restaurants, and other customer locations
  • Assisting Drivers with product rotation
  • Providing support for Drivers in navigating loading zones and parking structures
  • Performing warehouse duties as assigned, while adhering to company safety standards
  • Completing other duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record, in accordance with Georgia state laws
  • Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • Good understanding of basic mathematical skills
  • Dependable with excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to create positive customer interactions
  • Reliable transportation to work each day
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
