OPERATIONS MANAGER

The Clean Image of Simsbury is a well-established, family-owned commercial cleaning company that is now seeking an experienced, hands-on Operations Manager to lead our field team and help us continue delivering exceptional service to our clients.

This is a leadership position for someone who enjoys developing employees, solving problems, maintaining high standards, and leading by example. Our Operations Manager is visible in the field, supports our team, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.

Primary Responsibilities
 • Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new employees
 • Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members
 • Schedule and supervise cleaning staff
 • Conduct routine quality inspections
 • Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, corrective action, and, when necessary, employee terminations
 • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
 • Fill in on cleaning assignments when staffing shortages or call-outs occur
 • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients
 • Respond promptly and professionally to customer concerns
 • Assist with staffing, inventory, and operational planning
 • Maintain best-in-class service standards while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications
 • Previous management or supervisory experience (commercial cleaning or janitorial industry preferred)
 • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
 • Ability to motivate employees and hold them accountable
 • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
 • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
 • Flexible schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends as business needs require
