Responsibilities of a Bus Driver:

  • Safely operate a passenger bus to transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, and activities.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of residents during transportation, including assisting with boarding and disembarking.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on the bus to ensure its proper functioning.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to coordinate transportation schedules and address any special needs or requests.
  • Maintain accurate records of trips, mileage, and maintenance activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and assistance to residents during transportation.

Qualifications of a Bus Driver:
