• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly clients to accurately identify their specific mental health and emotional care needs.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions to help clients address emotional challenges related to aging, such as grief, anxiety, and life transitions.
• Provide education and resources to families and caregivers about effective strategies to support emotional well-being, enhancing the quality of life for elderly individuals.
• Guide clients and their families through grief and loss counseling, assisting them in coping with end-of-life issues and the emotional impact of loss.

Our primary focus is on providing mental health services to senior citizens navigating the complexities of aging. Many of our clients experience significant life changes, including the loss of loved ones, adapting to retirement, or coping with chronic health issues. By specializing in these areas, we ensure our counselors are equipped to offer tailored support that resonates deeply with our client demographic.

• a Master's Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.
• Completion of a full-time clinical internship in a mental health setting.
• Eligibility for licensure in the State of Washington, with a valid and in-good-standing driver’s license.
• Strong communication skills demonstrated by an ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with clients.
• Exceptional listening skills, empathy, and the ability to provide supportive guidance.
• A meticulous attention to detail and superior organizational skills to effectively manage client records and documentation.

• Experience working with elderly clients, particularly in addressing issues related to mental health, grief, or life transitions.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems available for elderly populations.
• Previous involvement in collaborative multidisciplinary teams may be advantageous.

This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, reflecting your expertise and dedication to providing quality care.
