Job description

EXPLEO USA is looking for an ADAS System Test Engineer to join a dynamic and expanding team in Troy, Michigan.

Your Role & Responsibilities

  • You will drive vehicle-level system testing and ensure full verification and validation of ADAS features. 
  • Ensure the executability and planning accuracy of system tests in alignment with project timeline
  • Develop comprehensive System Test Specifications with full traceability to system requirements
  • Support distribution, management, and readiness of the System Test Environment
  • Collaborate with OEMs on vehicle integration involving ultrasonic sensors and camera-based systems
  • Align test specifications with the Function Manager and secure approvals as needed
  • Execute, oversee, and approve system-level test case execution
  • Prepare System Test Reports and support closure of all system test activities
  • Conduct peer reviews of test plans, specifications, and related documentation
  • Escalate deviations to the System Test Lead and propose corrective solutions
  • Perform vehicle-level smoke tests, regression tests, and full validation cycles
  • Conduct on-road test drives to validate end-user ADAS features
  • Log issues in defect management tools such as JIRA, CoreALM, and DOORS
  • Perform DVP tasks per customer requirements
  • Perform CAN and LIN bus trace analysis using CANoe and CANalyzer
  • Develop innovative test solutions to enhance the current test strategy

Requirements:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in system testing or system design in an ADAS development environment
  • Familiarity with ultrasonic or camera-based sensing systems
  • Experience with ASPICE, ISO 26262, or Cyber Security principles
  • Exposure to defect-tracking systems such as JIRA and CoreALM
  • Prior experience integrating active safety sensors with OEM vehicle teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems Engineering, or similar)
  • Valid driver’s license
