Join Our Team as a Land Advisor
Are you passionate about land management, mineral rights, and the energy industry? We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Land Advisor to support our company's asset portfolio in Spring, TX. This vital role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team managing company-owned minerals and royalties, ensuring compliance and optimizing asset value. What You'll Do:
  • Review internal company records and utilize online courthouse documents to verify ownership and status of company-owned interests by depth (minerals, royalties, overrides).
  • Investigate all wells producing from the interests; research production history and depths/formations.
  • Pay close attention to the "held-by" status of leases, farmouts, and overriding royalty reservations.
  • Confirm NRI calculations and ensure all records are accurate.
  • Utilize Quorum Land and Enverus products (Drilling Info, Enverus Courthouse, EnergyLink) proficiently to streamline research and data analysis.

Required Skills:
  • Strong experience with land records review and mineral/royalty research.
  • Proficiency with Quorum Land and Enverus products.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience in the Permian Basin.
  • Knowledge of leasing, farmouts, and overriding royalty agreements.
  • Familiarity with online courthouse and production databases.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology, Petroleum Engineering, Land Management, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in land administration, mineral rights research, or comparable roles within the energy sector.

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work Monday through Sunday schedule with 5/2DOL.
  • Ability to travel locally as needed.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with safety protocols.
