Job description

Responsibilities
  • Performing standard penetrometer testing operations including performing borings and geoprobes
  • Locating borings in the field
  • Recording required drilling data
  • Reporting project-specific issues to the project manager and/or your supervisor
  • Performing drill rig and support truck maintenance; reporting repair and maintenance issues to the drilling supervisor
  • Following company safety procedures and guidelines for maintaining a safe work environment for all crew personnel
  • Safely and accurately loading drill rig and support vehicle each day with supplies
    Promptly and accurately completing time sheets and field paperwork
  • Care for and clean assigned company vehicles and drilling equipment and other assigned equipment
  • Maintaining professional behavior and quality standards
  • Willingness to work out of town and on non-standard work schedules when required
  • Other duties as assigned
