Gulf Electroquip is located in Houston, Texas, USA. Our power equipment can be engineered and manufactured to meet the specific needs of our clients. All our engineering is performed at our facility making sure that exact specifications are met.

Performs entry-level mechanical and electrical inspections under supervision.

  • Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators).
  • Conduct basic electrical tests following written procedures.
  • Verify parts against work orders and engineering masters.
  • Accurately complete inspection documentation using tablets and ERP systems.
  • Escalate out-of-spec conditions to supervisor.
  • Maintain safe and organized inspection area.
  • Move and organize equipment.
  • Label and palletize motor parts.
  • Ability to read basic mechanical drawings
  • Working knowledge of standard inspection tools
  • Basic computer and tablet proficiency
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Overhead crane operation (basic skills)
  • Identifies nonconformance's and escalates disposition decisions. Does not independently release product.
