Beaver Dam Water Restoration is a 24/7 emergency service company specializing in water damage mitigation and structural drying. We help homeowners and businesses recover after unexpected damage — and we’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team.

No prior restoration experience is required — we provide training.

Position Overview

As a Water Restoration Technician, you will perform production processes to fulfill restoration project needs while maintaining a professional appearance of equipment and vehicles.

You will be on the front lines of mitigation — the most critical phase of the restoration process.

We operate as a 24/7 emergency response company, and this position includes rotating on-call weekend shifts. Evening or late-night work may be required depending on when emergencies occur.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to service calls as needed
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and job site preparation
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment
  • Inventory and load vehicles with necessary equipment and supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and equipment appearance
  • Prepare rooms and staging areas for restoration work
  • Follow job scopes and production guidelines
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, customers, and insurance adjusters
  • Assist with job documentation and estimating using Xactimate
  • Perform end-of-day cleanup and ensure job sites are left orderly
  • Follow safety and risk management guidelines at all times

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Detail-oriented and dependable

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to regularly lift 50+ pounds (up to 100 pounds with assistance)
  • Ability to bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work at ceiling heights
  • Ability to work in tight spaces (crawl spaces, attics, basements)
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
  • Comfortable working around cleaning products and chemicals
  • Ability to wear PPE when required

Bonus Qualifications(Not Required)

  • Construction, demolition, or restoration experience
  • IICRC certifications
  • Experience with Xactimate
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
