Position Overview
Our team is looking for an experienced construction Superintendent to supervise craft employees ensure projects are safely completed on time. As a Superintendent, you will play a key role in the success of Weeks Marine projects across the Hawaii/Pacific region of US. This role requires excellent communication skills, as you'll collaborate with various people, such as craft workers, job teams, and engineers. Responsibilities
• Supervise the crew(s) and craft workers in the application of all projects.
• Managing the performance of productivity, safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Collaborate with engineers, Job teams, etc. to determine project needs.
• Utilize equipment, material, and labor to maximize production and minimize costs in assigned responsibility.
• Set performance goals and deadlines.
• Coordinate and interface effectively with superintendents and Foreman to ensure smooth workflow and schedule adherence.
• Resolve employee conflicts, grievances, and scheduling difficulties, informing project and corporate management as appropriate.
• Assist in schedule planning, determining craft labor needs, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
• Keep track of material stock and orders.
• Ensure project rules, procedures and programs are followed consistently, including those involving safety, attendance, and workplace behavior standards as reflected in Company's non-harassment and nondiscrimination policies.
• Perform additional ad hoc assignments per managements direction.
Qualifications
• 10+ years' experience in the construction industry, with at least 5-10 years in a supervisory role.
• Must have experience and professional knowledge of heavy civil infrastructure, marine infrastructure is preferred.
o Ideal candidate will have project experience with ports, docks, wharves, piers, bridges or other waterfont structures.
• Must be able to run multiple crews across various construction scopes.
• Knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, cost control, engineering drawings and other documents.
• Demonstrated ability to efficiently supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• General computer skills required, Microsoft Office proficiency (Word and Excel).
• Organizational and time-management skills.
• Experience with cranes is preferred.
• Must have ability to manage and inspire others.
• High School Diploma/GED required.

Base Compensation: $138,000/yr - $144,000/yr
