Job description

Capital Professionals is working with a growing logistics and transportation company in the Northwest Houston area that is adding a Drayage & International Account Executive / Account Manager to its team.
This is a good opportunity for someone with logistics experience who understands drayage, intermodal, container freight, international shipping, domestic freight, or account management and wants to continue growing with a company that has strong support behind the team.
About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business, managing customer relationships, and helping customers with drayage, international, intermodal, domestic, and related transportation needs.
This is a customer-facing position, so the right person needs to be comfortable prospecting, following up, quoting freight, managing accounts, and working with operations to make sure customers are taken care of.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Develop new business with shippers, importers, exporters, and logistics customers
  • Manage and grow customer relationships
  • Sell and support drayage, intermodal, international, domestic, and related freight services
  • Understand customer shipping needs and provide practical logistics solutions
  • Quote freight, prepare service options, and follow up with customers
  • Work with operations and support teams to help keep freight moving
  • Keep customer activity, pipeline updates, and notes current in the system

  • Logistics sales or account management experience
  • Experience with drayage, intermodal, container freight, international freight, or domestic transportation
  • Strong communication and follow-up skills
