Job description

If you have spent years in home services, sales, design, or a customer-facing role and you are ready for a position where your effort directly drives your income -- this was written for you.
We are a family-owned company with a showroom in Killeen. Most of our work happens in people's homes. We take time with every customer, explain what they are buying, and make sure they are taken care of from first appointment through final installation. That is why they keep coming back -- and sending their friends.
We are a small team and we like it that way. We are looking for one person to grow with us.
WHAT THIS JOB LOOKS LIKE:
Days typically start at the office -- reviewing appointments, following up on open quotes, placing orders. Then you are out in the field, in customers' homes across Central Texas, measuring, presenting samples, and helping people make decisions they feel good about.
Our client coordinator sets your appointments. You are not cold calling or chasing leads. Your job is to show up prepared and run a great consultation. Customers call us back to say thank you because we actually took time to explain what they were buying. That is the standard here.
WHO THRIVES HERE:
  • We have hired enough people to know that background matters less than who someone really is. The people who do well here share a few things:
  • You move fast and think on your feet -- a slow day bothers you more than a packed one.
  • You genuinely enjoy meeting new people, every single appointment.
  • You finish what you start and follow through without being chased.
  • You are tech-fluent -- CRM software, tablets, and quoting tools do not slow you down.
  • You are detail-oriented -- a wrong measurement costs real money and you know it.
  • You are coachable -- you take feedback, apply it, and move forward without ego.
  • You are a self-starter -- you see what needs doing and you do it without waiting to be told.
  • You are always learning -- a sales book, a podcast, an article. You invest in getting better on your own time.
  • You are comfortable driving daily across Central Texas.

We are a service-first company. The one thing that ends someone's time here quickly is not genuinely caring about the customer in front of them. Everyone on this team does.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
  • Valid Texas driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
  • Comfort with technology -- tablets, CRM systems, quoting software.
  • Flexibility that includes some Saturdays.

A background in interior design, home improvement, flooring, or in-home sales is a plus -- not a requirement. We have built strong consultants from scratch. What we cannot teach is the right mindset.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Your first weeks are fully paid structured training -- you are learning our product line, shadowing consultations, and working toward your first independent appointment at your own pace. We invest in your preparation so that when you are in front of a customer on your own, you are ready. Advancement is milestone-based, not calendar-based.
Once you complete training and begin running solo appointments, commission kicks in on top of your hourly base. You also receive a $400/month vehicle allowance, paid monthly, no receipts required. As you grow, you move to our full commission structure with performance bonuses. There is no cap on earnings.
Pay range: $14/hour base + commission. Total compensation for a developing consultant in months 4-6 averages $2,800-$3,500/month.
Benefits include:
  • Health insurance.
  • Dental insurance.
  • Retirement plan.
  • $400/month vehicle allowance.
  • iPad, product samples, and all sales tools provided.
