Drama Kids Summer Camp Instructor
Summer 2026 | Greater Tampa Bay Area
Where Creativity Takes the Stage - All Summer Long!
Drama Kids is seeking energetic, creative, and dependable Summer Camp Instructors who are passionate about the performing arts and love working with kids. This is a seasonal role with growth potential, perfect for performers, educators, college students, creatives, or anyone who believes summer should be filled with imagination, laughter, and meaningful impact.
Successful Summer Camp Instructors will also be invited to join our part-time teaching team during the school year, based on availability and performance.
Commitment & Availability (Required)
  • Training: Must be fully available for paid training throughout May 2026 (Primarily weekends, with occasional weekday sessions)
  • Camp Dates: June 1 - August 7, 2026 Must be available for at least 4-6 weeks during this period
  • Schedule Options (Monday-Friday):
    • 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
    • 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    • 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
  • Location: Camps run throughout the Greater Tampa Bay areaValid driver's license & reliable vehicle required

What You'll Do
  • Lead themed and performance-based drama camps for ages 5-17
  • Teach engaging Drama Kids curriculum using your own creativity and personality
  • Facilitate theater games, storytelling, improvisation, movement, and performance
  • Adapt content for different age groups-from kindergarten to young adults
  • Work collaboratively with a team while also taking initiative independently
  • Create a fun, safe, and inspiring environment where kids build confidence and shine
Must-Haves
  • Excited and comfortable working with children
  • Passion for the performing arts (professional or personal)
  • Able to follow curriculum while bringing it to life imaginatively
  • Team player with strong accountability and self-initiative
  • Reliable transportation (multiple locations)
  • Available for required training and summer schedule
  • Organized, positive, and dependable
Helpful (But Not Required)
  • Experience teaching or working with children
  • Background in theater, dance, music, or performance
  • Camp counseling or classroom experience
