Job description

Job Summary:
Dragonfly is a crypto-native Venture Capital and research firm, and they are seeking a Founding Engineer to lead development on a consumer crypto app. The role involves leading development across the core app, SDKs, and third-party integrations while working directly with the founding team on product, architecture, and roadmap.
Responsibilities:
• You’ll join as the first engineering hire at a live, crypto-native product with a growing user base and significant protocol volume.
• You’ll lead development across the core app, SDKs, and third-party integrations. This includes building seamless web experiences, scaling across chains and platforms (including wallets and Telegram), and enabling developers to build on top of the protocol.
• You’ll work directly with the founding team on product, architecture, and roadmap.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• 1+ years as a tech lead or Engineering Manager
• Experience owning core systems or features in high-growth or early-stage environments
• Strong product instincts, especially around UX and user onboarding
• Comfort working across the stack (TypeScript, React, Next.js, APIs, infra, etc.)
Preferred:
• Experience in consumer crypto, gaming, or embedded SDKs
