Job Description Technicien(ne)-Dessinateur(trice) - AutoCAD Electrical / Electrical Drafting Technician - AutoCAD Electrical Location / Lieu: Chambly, QC (On-site) Employment Type / Type d'emploi: Permanent, Full-time Work Arrangement / Mode de travail: On-site (100%) Language Requirement / Langues: French required Technicien(ne)-Dessinateur(trice) - Electrical Drafting Technician - AutoCAD Electrical Sommaire du poste Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) Technicien(ne)-Dessinateur(trice) - AutoCAD Electrical pour joindre une equipe specialisee dans la conception de systemes electriques destines a des installations de production, de transport et de distribution d'energie. En collaboration avec les ingenieurs de projet, vous serez responsable de l'elaboration des schemas electriques, de la production des dessins techniques et du maintien des standards de conception. Vous contribuerez egalement a l'amelioration continue des methodes de travail tout en assurant la qualite et la conformite des livrables aux normes de l'industrie.

Principales responsabilites Produire les schemas electriques et les dessins techniques pour les panneaux de controle et les installations electriques. Elaborer les dessins a l'aide d'AutoCAD Electrical conformement aux exigences des projets. Assurer la conformite de tous les dessins aux normes et standards applicables.

Collaborer etroitement avec les ingenieurs afin d'assurer la coherence et l'integrite des systemes electriques. Maintenir, mettre a jour et ameliorer les bibliotheques de symboles et les standards de dessin. Assurer la gestion, la tracabilite et l'archivage des dessins techniques a l'aide d'Autodesk Vault.

Participer aux essais en atelier lorsque requis afin de valider des equipements, panneaux de controle ou assemblages. Contribuer a l'amelioration continue des processus de conception et des pratiques de dessin. Respecter les echeanciers et les exigences de qualite des projets.

Profil recherche Diplome d'etudes collegiales (DEC) en dessin industriel, electrotechnique ou dans un domaine connexe. Minimum de 5 annees d'experience en dessin electrique. Excellente maitrise d'AutoCAD Electrical.

Experience avec Autodesk Vault. Connaissance des normes et pratiques du secteur de l'energie constitue un atout. Excellentes aptitudes en organisation et souci du detail.

Working closely with project engineers, you will be responsible for producing electrical schematics, technical drawings, and maintaining design standards. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring all deliverables meet quality requirements and industry standards. This position is based in Chambly, Quebec and requires full-time on-site work.

Key Responsibilities Produce electrical schematics and technical drawings for control panels and electrical installations. Develop drawings using AutoCAD Electrical in accordance with project specifications. Ensure all drawings comply with applicable industry standards and design requirements.

Work closely with engineers to maintain the integrity and consistency of electrical systems. Maintain and improve symbol libraries and drafting standards. Manage, track, and archive engineering drawings using Autodesk Vault.

Participate in shop testing activities when required to validate equipment, control panels, or assemblies. Contribute to continuous improvement of drafting standards and design processes. Deliver high-quality work while meeting project schedules.

Qualifications College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Drafting, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical drafting/design. Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical.

Experience using Autodesk Vault. Knowledge of standards and practices within the power or energy industry is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. Self-motivated with a strong sense of accountability. Results-oriented with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
