Allied / Tech - Respiratory Therapist

Shift Details: Shift 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM, Shifts Per Week 4, Scheduled Hours 48. Job Order Details Start Date 07/27/2026, End Date 01/25/2027, Duration 26 Week(s).

Job Description: MUST HAVE TRAVEL EXPERIENCE. Shift - (4)x12 Nights, EOW 26 weeks- will accept 137P-7:30AM. ICU experience PREFERRED- NOT REQUIRED. Before sending candidates to the manager, we need these questions answered: Is this assignment your top choice if offered? If you are currently working, do you plan to continue in that role if offered this assignment, or will it end before this assignment begins? Do you have any schedule requests or restrictions, such as specific days of the week you cannot work or a blocked schedule? Which facility/facilities have you worked in a Level III or IV NICU and how often did you work that unit? How often have you worked with neonatal oscillating vents? How often have you worked with high frequency jet vents? Which facility/facilities have you worked with a Draeger vent and how often? How recently? Please confirm that all RTO is final and accurate, as any additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved. 2 year min experience required - Must have level 2 Trauma Experience. Draeger Vent experience required. Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed. Will work every other weekend and holidays as needed. BLS, and CRT or RRT plus state license required. Travelers may be asked to orientate students / new hires if needed. Floating: Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and Pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so while it may vary, the expectation is that staff are prepared to support all units as needed. Type of facility - Short term acute care hospital. Total Staffed Beds - 426. Level II Trauma Ctr. Charting - EPIC. Free Parking Part of Yale New Haven Health System.
