To thrive as a DPAS (Defense Property Accountability Specialist), you need a solid understanding of asset management, inventory control, and government property regulations, often supported by experience or certification in property management systems. Familiarity with tools such as the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) software and knowledge of DoD property accountability procedures are typically required.
