SUMMARY 
The Marketing Coordinator ("Coordinador/a de Marketing") provides essential administrative and operational support to the Marketing Department. This role assists with financial tracking, budget documentation, project coordination, and marketing collateral management across multiple properties. The position helps support the development and execution marketing programs that will increase demand and drive revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

  • Reconciles monthly marketing budgets and prepares reports for leadership review. 
  • Assists with processing media/advertising contracts and supports marketing strategy implementation. 
  • Coordinates print and offline marketing projects, including ordering, delivery, and inventory management of collateral. 
  • Organizes, scans, and archives PR/editorial coverage and maintains office archive books. 
  • Supports FAMs, site inspections, event listings, and other marketing initiatives. 
  • Provides general administrative support, including phone coverage, office supplies, and ad-hoc department projects. 
  • Completes reports and deliverables within established deadlines. 
  • Provide general office support to the marketing department with phone coverage and ordering of office supplies. 
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team. 


QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Associate’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field preferred. 
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training in marketing, administrative support, or hospitality. 
  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement. 
  • Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred. 
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required. 
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. 
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. 
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. 
  • Ability to always maintain a friendly, professional, team-oriented, positive demeanor and diplomatic attitude, especially under stress or challenges.  
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs. 
  • The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
