Summary


This position is integral to our property accounting department, as this individual will correspond via phone and email with property owners regarding their accounting statements, ledgers and any other inquiries.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities


This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.


  • Works extensively in cloud-based management software performing accounting and other related property management tasks.
  • Daily deposit of electronic funds received, payment of property related expenses and disbursement to owners.
  • Understands the flow of transactions; ability to read and interpret tenant and owner ledgers and respond to inquiries.
  • Prepares and sends accounting statements to property owners upon request.
  • Monitors and oversees an electronic payment system by sending and receiving payments as well as updating account information.
  • Provides customer service via phone and email to property owners by assisting with questions or concerns about their account.
  • Processes security deposit transfers and reviews move out accounting.
  • Assists in account reconciliations.
  • Assists in preparation of year-end accounting and financial statements.
  • Assists in the collection of required tax information and preparation of necessary tax documents.
  • Special projects as assigned.
