HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
The Opening
We are currently seeking an Equipment Operator to be based out of Colorado to assist with hazardous waste clean-up, site-remediation, equipment decontamination and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS – Pause, Review, Observe, Start
  • Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities that deal with biological and chemical materials
  • Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift
  • Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces and at heights
  • Operates light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, dozer, excavators, backhoes
  • Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers
  • Have an excellent driving history
What does it take to work at Environmental Restoration?
  • 2 years of environmental project experience
  • Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam
  • Legally eligible to work in the United Stated (Verified through E-Verify)
  • Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification
  • Ability to work on an on-call basis as business needs require
  • Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
  • Ability to work in confined spaces
  • Ability to wear a respirator
  • Regularly lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Must be able to interpret and follow written and oral instructions and assignments
Environmental experience, hazardous waste experience and certification (i.e. OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER), CDL and maintenance experience is a plus.
