Job description

JOB SUMMARY:

Drive revenue growth and market expansion for Beaumont Manufacturing and Distribution's downstream business, with a focus on introducing our new V-Ball product line to refining and petrochemical markets. Work collaboratively with distribution partners, EPCs, and end-users to identify opportunities and deliver technical solutions. Success in this role requires deep technical expertise in downstream applications, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate manufacturer-distributor partnerships while maintaining our quality-first approach.


POSITION DETAILS:

Department: Sales

Reports To: Sales Director

Location: Remote – Gulf Coast

Type: Full-time

Travel Required: Regular travel within territory


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively initiate sales calls with existing and potential distribution partners serving downstream refining and petrochemical customers
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with key decision-makers at refineries, petrochemical plants, and EPCs
  • Lead the market introduction of the V-Ball product line, including product training and technical demonstrations for distribution partners
  • Research market/customer data to plan routing and set territory objectives for the downstream segment
  • Attend industry events and trade shows as a company representative
  • Create and deliver tailored presentations and solutions for downstream applications
  • Document sales activities and maintain accurate records in CRM system
  • Meet or exceed territory revenue targets through effective account management
  • Provide market intelligence and insights on downstream trends to internal teams
  • Comply with all safety policies when visiting distributor, refinery, or plant sites


REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in technical/industrial products
  • Advanced knowledge of products and applications in the industry
  • Familiarity with Downstream refining and petrochemical concepts and procedures
  • Knowledge of valve sizing, including ball valve and V-Ball applications, for customer products
  • Effective presentation skills for internal and external audiences
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Experience with refining or petrochemical processing equipment preferred
  • Sales experience preferred but not required
