We are seeking a Systems Engineer who will provide expert technical support for product development, production, and technology insertion for the hypersonic thermal protection system. This role requires a detailed and organized individual with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate closely with government and contractor teams to ensure effective communication and status accounting across a broad range of material review board activities, manufacturing support tasks, and technology insertion efforts.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the interface with the Prime contractor through AvMC technical review and approval processes for material review board, redline changes, and Engineering Change Proposals for the TDP.
  • Conduct analysis of alternatives/impact analysis and provide recommendations to AvMC material review board.
  • Review drawings for manufacturability and conformance with change documentation.
  • Work with the Lead System Integrator to ensure alignment with government TPS systems engineering philosophy, policies, and processes/procedures.
  • Courier for classified information between AVMC and the Prime.

Required
  • ABET accredited engineering degree.
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting DoW engineering programs (missile development and manufacturing experience is highly preferred).
  • Ability to create, review, and maintain technical procedures.
  • Proficiency interpreting engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Must have an in-scope DoW Secret security clearance.
