PowerBuilder / .NET Developer

Job Type: Contract
Experience: 5+ years preferred

We are seeking a PowerBuilder / .NET Developer to support critical banking applications, primarily the FIIS application developed in PowerBuilder, along with .NET-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, enhance, and provide production support for banking applications.

  • Support and troubleshoot the PowerBuilder/FIIS application.

  • Develop and support applications using .NET technologies.

  • Translate business and technical requirements into application and database solutions.

  • Design, develop, test, debug, implement, and maintain software applications.

  • Perform application troubleshooting, incident resolution, root-cause analysis, and production support.

  • Work with SQL and databases for application development and support.

  • Monitor application alerts, incidents, and system events.

  • Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and support documentation.

  • Follow SDLC, coding standards, testing, code review, and development processes.

  • Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and stakeholders.

  • Provide knowledge transfer and support application continuity.

Required Skills:

  • Strong PowerBuilder development and production support experience.

  • Experience with .NET application development and support.

  • Strong SQL/database development skills.

  • Experience with production support, troubleshooting, debugging, and incident management.

  • Good understanding of SDLC and application development processes.
