WAGE RANGE: $15.00-$20.00

JOB SUMMARY
Shall assist Cineplex guests with sales, directions, ticket collection, seating, and theater maintenance. Provides food and beverage service to Cineplex guests, including handling food products safely, processing payment, and maintaining the cleanliness of the Cineplex.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  1. Shall promote customer satisfaction and return visits through prompt, friendly, and efficient service.
  2. Will graciously accept admission tickets from guests entering the Cineplex lobby and provide directions to the proper theatre.
  3. Greets each guest with a smile and a quick offering of service. Upsells specials.
  4. Enters food orders into POS accepts payment for orders and accurately issues change due.
  5. Handles all foodstuff in a healthful manner consistent with food handling practices.
  6. Responsible for the accuracy of cash, including confirming a pre/post shift balance of cash with ticket or food sales.
  7. Assists with inventory needs as directed, including supply needs, order checklist, stocking of product received, rotating products under FIFO, etc.
  8. Provides deep cleaning of facility and equipment each shift or as directed.
  9. Will perform other Cineplex duties as business dictates, including working in box office sales, or ushering.
  10. Responsible for overall cleanliness of the facility, helping replenish supplies and materials, picking up and discarding used products and garbage, wiping down public areas, carpet sweeping the floors, etc.
  11. Assists guests as appropriate, opening doors, providing direction, answering inquiries, etc.
  12. Handles door closing/opening before and after each movie.
  13. Provides cleaning of theatre in between movies, quickly removing trash and carpet sweeping.
  14. Maintains lobby area in a clean, organized manner, including emptying trash containers, wiping signage windows and displays, carpet sweeping, and dusting.
  15. Assists with maintaining restrooms, replenishing supplies as needed, wiping counters, emptying trash, sweeping floors, etc.
  16. Promotes a safe, clean environment, preventing slip and fall hazards. Promptly reports hazards to supervisor.
  17. Other related duties as assigned.

ACCESS TO SENSITIVE AREAS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Six (6) months of customer service experience.
  2. Cash handling experience.
  3. Computer and POS experience helpful.
  4. Good interpersonal skills to interact with people.
  5. Must present a friendly demeanor and a neat and clean appearance.
  6. High school diploma/GED or ten years' experience OR current student 16-18 years of age.
  7. Requires a Food Handler's Card within 30 days of hire.
  8. Bend, reach overhead, maneuver, and lift items to 40 lbs., stand for long periods, operate cleaning equipment, and perform repetitive motions using arms, wrists, hands, and fingers.
  9. Flexible schedule and able to work various days and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  10. Requires a criminal history background check.
  11. Must be at least 16 years of age.
