Their duties typically include checking guest lists or tickets, managing queues, ensuring safety and security, and sometimes coordinating with security teams or law enforcement. Door Managers play a key role in creating a welcoming and orderly environment while enforcing venue policies. They may also handle difficult situations, such as managing intoxicated guests or de-escalating conflicts. Good communication and customer service skills are essential for this role.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a door manager, and why are they important?

To thrive as a Door Manager, you need strong customer service skills, situational awareness, and experience in crowd management or security, often supported by relevant training or certifications.
