Are you a strategic thinker with deep debt capital markets expertise? Do you enjoy advising clients on financing solutions and leading complex transactions in dynamic market environments?
We're looking for somebody to join our Debt Capital Markets team to:
• structure and execute debt buybacks, exchange offers, tender offers, and consent solicitations across investment-grade, high-yield, and distressed markets
• partner directly with Debt Capital Markets (DCM), Leveraged Finance (LCM), Sector Banking and Sales & Trading to originate and execute trades that optimize the capital structure
• strong proficiency in corporate finance, valuation methods and financial modeling
• make sound and balanced judgments (and always within professional, ethical, regulatory and legal standards)
• assist in group planning overall, by recruiting, developing and retaining talented individuals

Your team
You will be part of the Debt Capital Markets team within Global Banking. The team works closely with industry and sponsor coverage groups to provide clients with innovative financing solutions across global debt markets. DCM professionals advise clients on debt issuance strategy, market positioning, liability management and financing alternatives while executing transactions across a wide spectrum of products and sectors.
Your expertise
• extensive experience within Debt Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Corporate Banking, Investment Banking or a related capital markets discipline.
• demonstrated experience leading debt financing transactions including investment-grade bonds, high-yield offerings, acquisition financings and other capital structure solutions.
• strong understanding of debt market dynamics, investor behavior, credit analysis and financing structures.
• proven ability to originate business opportunities and cultivate senior client relationships.
• excellent financial modeling, analytical and presentation skills.
• strong commercial judgment and ability to perform effectively in fast-paced market environments.
• exceptional communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• leadership experience with a track record of developing and mentoring junior professionals.
• bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA or equivalent qualifications preferred.
• applicable securities registrations and regulatory qualifications as required.
• You're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.

Salary information
The indicative gross base salary range as a full-time equivalent role:
• United States - New York - New York USD 325000 /annum
