The Clothing & Seasonal Associate plays a vital role in the daily operations of the Clothing and Seasonal Departments by processing donations, maintaining attractive retail displays, assisting customers, and supporting volunteers. Working under the direction of the Clothing & Seasonal Team Leader, this position helps ensure merchandise is processed efficiently, stocked appropriately, and presented in a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail, has an interest in clothing and seasonal merchandise, and is committed to providing outstanding customer service while supporting the mission of Gift & Thrift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities ? Process incoming clothing and seasonal donations by sorting, inspecting, cleaning, hanging, pricing, packaging, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.

  • Process incoming clothing and seasonal donations by sorting, inspecting, cleaning, hanging, pricing, packaging, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
  • Rotate between the Clothing and Seasonal Departments based on operational needs and workload.
  • Stock, organize, replenish, and merchandise sales floor displays to create an inviting shopping experience.
  • Assist with seasonal department transitions, displays, and promotional merchandise changes throughout the year.
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable customer service, including answering questions, assisting with product location, and performing price checks when needed.
  • Assist with returning merchandise to the appropriate sales floor location and maintaining organized backstock areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout both departments, including workstations, displays, fitting areas, and storage spaces.
  • Work cooperatively with team members, volunteers, department leaders, and management to accomplish daily operational goals.
  • Support volunteers by providing guidance and assistance with assigned tasks as directed by the Team Leader.
  • Attend department meetings and training sessions as scheduled.
  • Assist with cashiering or other retail operations when business needs require.
  • Provide backup support for the Clothing & Seasonal Team Leader during absences or days off as requested.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Team Leader or Thrift Manager.
