Job Summary: Assist donors by receiving and unloading donations with friendliness and courtesy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Track sorting metrics by maintaining tally sheets for equipment processed daily.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area, adhering to company safety policies and procedures.
  • Position large items for easy pickup.
  • Use appropriate equipment to load and unload trucks and trailers.
  • Welcome donors, assist with unloading, issue receipts, distribute flyers and bags.
  • Record donations and equipment.
  • Sort donations according to guidelines.
  • Follow and understand safety protocols and participate in related training.
  • Responsible for securing locations at the end of the business day.
  • Must be able to travel to different Donation Site locations.
  • Must be able to work on weekends when asked.


  Skills & Experience

  • Manage ventilation during hot weather.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting to 50 lbs. and pushing/pulling up to 100 lbs., standing, bending, and reaching.

Education & Certifications

  • On job training such as serving as a learner or trainee on the job under the instruction of qualified workers. Anything beyond short demonstration up to and including30 days.
