Job description

Ultra I&C welcomes transitioning service members through our DoD SkillBridge Program. This is a general application for C4ISR careers, offering flexible, hands-on learning. We regularly update our listings below with specific opportunities tailored to your skills.

Ultra I&C generally offers opportunities in Austin, TX, Tampa, FL, Germantown, MD, San Diego, CA, and Huntsville, AL. These internships can open doors to diverse career opportunities across departments, such as Engineering, PMO, IT, and beyond.

Application Process

  • Apply: Complete and submit the Ultra I&C SkillBridge application.
  • Eligibility Assessment: We'll review your military background to identify possible internship opportunities that match your skills and experience.
  • Interview: If your experience aligns with an available internship, we'll contact you to schedule an interview.
  • Internal Review: We'll conduct an internal review to ensure Ultra I&C can provide a meaningful and compliant internship under the DoD SkillBridge MOU.
  • Decision: We'll inform you of our selection decision.
  • Command Approval: If selected, gain final approval from your commanding officer to participate. NOTE: You cannot start through our program until we receive your signed approval form.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be an active-duty service member within 180 days or less of your separation date.
  • Should be based in the Continental United States to be considered for available internships.
  • If the internship requires it, you must possess the appropriate security clearance. Customer approval may also be necessary.
