Description of Task to be Performed:
AnaVation is looking for a talented Software Developer who is passionate about technology and working with cutting edge software to support our mission-critical hybrid cloud big data program. The ideal candidate appreciates partnering with our customer and a group of engineers to create capabilities to support cybersecurity missions. This position is on-site work based in San Antonio, TX.
Our team of engineers is working with cutting edge technologies to create innovative solutions that meet our customers ever-growing requirements. We have the ability to research, define, and recommend technologies to our customer and are involved in all parts of the software development life cycle. The applications we help to develop are highly customized, help to automate the business processes of our customer, and allow them to perform various types of analysis on datasets that they would not normally be able to do. Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Certification: DoD 8570 IAT II (CompTIA CySA+ preferred, Security+ or equivalent acceptable) within 30 days of contract start.
  • Location: On-site position in San Antonio, TX.
  • Experience:
  • 4 years minimum experience in software development, to include each phase of the software development life cycle.
  • 3 year minimum combined working with Back End or Front End software development including hands on experience in one or more Back End (Java, PostgreSQL, REST API integration, SpringBoot, MongoDB, Accumulo, Go, Python, Elastic Search) and/or Front End (JavaScript Frameworks, GraphQL, Node.js, React (UI/UX and Backend integration), Vue, jQuery, HTML).
  • Understanding of Agile Development Tools such as Jira, Confluence, Git, Git lab, GitHub.
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Desired Clearance: TS/SCI-eligible.
  • Desired Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Desired Certification: Active DoD 8570 IAT II (CompTIA CySA+ preferred, Security+ or equivalent acceptable).
  • Desired Experience:
    • 8 years minimum experience in software development, to include each phase of the software development life cycle.
    • 8 year minimum working with Back End software development including hands on experience in one or more of the following: Java, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Accumulo, Go, Python, Elastic Search.

    • Experience with MISP implementation and OpenCTI implementation
    • Experience with Large Language Models (LLM)
    • Experience with Keycloak, Government Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM)) and integrating OIDC and OAuth applications and APIs
    • Experience with DoD cybersecurity operations.
    • Cybersecurity certifications.
    • Experience with classified system development and information assurance.
    • Agile scrum master experience.
    • AWS Cloud development experience and/or certifications.
    • Experience with containerized development (Docker, Kubernetes or similar)
    • Experience using DevOps tools and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) automation (Jenkins, Nexus, CloudFormation, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or similar).
