Job description

T2S Solutions currently has an opening for a DoD SkillBridge - Acquisition Analyst Fellowship to support our Advanced Military Technologies efforts.

Applicants MUST be a current service member and participant in the DoD SkillBridge program
FLSA Status: N/A; (Servicemember will be a participant in the DoD SkillBridge program with potential for full-time employment upon program completion)

Position Summary

The Analyst Fellow will support the Experimentation Platforms IT infrastructure through system and network administration, hardware and software management, and cybersecurity operations. This role ensures reliable performance of enterprise systems and provides technical assistance to end users, contributing to the overall security, stability, and efficiency of the organizations technology environment.

Key Skills Developed

Troubleshooting: Advanced ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.

Enterprise Tools: Hands-on experience with enterprise technologies.

Scripting/Automation: Exposure to automation and scripting tools to improve efficiency.

Professional Skills: Enhanced communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities.

Security Practices: Working knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and operational best practices.

  • System and Network Administration
  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, operating systems, and core business applications.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and network access in accordance with security policies.
  • Assist with configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Monitor system performance and resolve network or connectivity issues.

Hardware and Software Management

  • Set up and configure desktop workstations, laptops, and peripheral devices.
  • Install, upgrade, and patch software and hardware to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
  • Maintain and update the organizations IT asset inventory.
  • Support equipment lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, and decommissioning.

Cybersecurity

  • Support the implementation and enforcement of cybersecurity policies and best practices.
  • Assist in monitoring security tools, reviewing event logs, and identifying potential threats.
  • Participate in incident response activities and assist in remediation efforts.
  • Promote user awareness of cybersecurity practices through training and support.

Training and Documentation

  • Provide technical training and guidance to end users on hardware, software, and system use.
  • Develop and maintain IT documentation, including knowledge bases, configuration records, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Assist in creating and delivering training materials for new technologies and systems.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD security clearance required
  • Education - Associates or bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; or equivalent professional experience.
  • 13 years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or related technical role preferred.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / MCSA / similar.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, Office 365 administration, and networking fundamentals.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and common enterprise tools.

Compensation: 75-100k DOE
