Company Description
Entrust Government Solutions has an immediate need for a Requirements Analyst who has DoD Systems Engineering Acquisition Lifecycle and DoD Instruction 5000 knowledge experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementation of DoD 5000 and ISO 9001 guidelines and process improvement methods at the operational level to improve effectiveness, increase efficiency and quality. This responsibility encompasses requirements management for all aspects of the systems engineering development life cycle including requirements engineering, gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and support of custom solutions. In addition, you will serve as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support when necessary.
You must also have excellent communication skills and feel comfortable working with technical and non-technical team members, clients, and management.
Job Description
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy an enterprise requirements management plan for the collection, curation, storage, archiving and disposition of all data and artifacts associated with DoD IT Systems within the Acquisitions lifecycle.
  • Assist with communication of major/minor requirements and coordination with other support personnel to ensure seamless rollout of new functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with customers to produce project guidelines.
  • Evaluate project progress and ensure that the project is progressing as expected. Analytical skills are needed to evaluate information, and conduct extensive research to ensure they have a complete picture of the client's needs.
  • Communicate issues and problems to management in a timely manner.
  • Other IT systems analysis-related duties, as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Systems, Systems Engineering, or IT-related field preferred
  • DoD Systems Engineering Acquisition Lifecycle experience
  • Defense Acquisition University - ENG 101
  • Defense Acquisition University - ACQ 101
  • Vast knowledge in requirements management best practices
  • Experience with review and quality assurance of DOD compliance policies, procedures, regulatory guideline, and acquisition documents
  • Knowledge of business process improvement (Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred)
  • Knowledge of IT systems, IT systems security, and IT solutions
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate and interact confidently with individuals at all levels; must be dedicated to a high degree of customer service with the ability to work well in a team environment
