Position Summary

Norbeck Technologies is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Front Desk Data Entry Specialist to support the 66th Force Support Squadron (66 FSS) at Hanscom Air Force Base (Bldg. 1240).
In this role, you will serve as the primary face of the squadron—managing front desk reception, greeting base personnel and official visitors, managing visitor logs and access control, answering multi-line phone systems, and maintaining high-accuracy data entry across Air Force electronic databases.
Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk & Reception Operations: Serve as the primary point of contact at Bldg. 1240; greet visitors, verify credentials, manage sign-in logs, and issue visitor badges in accordance with Hanscom AFB security procedures.
  • Data Entry & Management: Input, update, and dual-verify records across Air Force electronic databases and internal spreadsheets with zero-error precision.
  • Customer Service & Telecommunications: Answer multi-line phone systems, route calls, take accurate messages, and provide routine administrative assistance to base personnel and guests.
  • Mail & Document Control: Receive, sort, log, and distribute incoming physical mail and digital correspondence; maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Security & Privacy Compliance: Adhere strictly to base physical security rules, DoD administrative guidelines, and Privacy Act / Personally Identifiable Information (PII) protections.
Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required (Associate degree preferred).
  • Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in administrative support, front desk reception, customer service, or data entry (prior DoD, military installation, or federal contractor experience preferred).
Technical Proficiency:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 40–50 WPM).
  • Ability to learn specialized government software and tracking databases quickly. 
Clearance & Citizenship:
  • U.S. Citizenship Required.
  • Must be able to pass a standard federal background investigation (Public Trust / Installation Suitability Determination) for Hanscom AFB access.
